Quality Assurance and Food Safety Manager

Position Responsibilities:

• Oversee the food safety and sanitation procedures for retail food service organization.
• Develop food safety, sanitation policies and procedures within a franchise organization.
• Maintain a quality assurance program to qualify food suppliers and ensure the safety of products flowing through the company's system from manufacture to consumers.
• Coordinate with third party audits of the warehouse and distribution facility to advise suppliers of company's qualification requirements.
• Handle inspections of manufacturing and retail operations for compliance of regulations, policies and sanitary conditions.
• Supervise internal auditors and manage the data collected. Develop working relationships with regulatory agencies and colleagues within the company's supermarket accounts.
• Become a point of contact to other departments for technical issues dealing with regulatory compliance.
• Develop training programs, write and modify HACCP plans, and modify procedures to meet changes in the Food Code, as well as state and local regulations as necessary.

• B.A./B.S. degree and/or equivalent experience in the retail food service industry and/or seafood business.
• HACCP certification and ServSafe proctor is preferred but not required.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential.
• Organization and computer skills are required.
• Be able to travel up to 50%.

We are seeking a qualified National Sales Manager for the Sales/Marketing Dept. to generate new business/sales, execute departmental growth initiatives/promotional plans and maintain existing customer base. Must have prior experience in the supermarket industry and/or military food services with excellent oral and written communication ability along with strong organizational and computer skills. Must be able to travel.

Regional Manager 

The applicant for this position will oversee franchised (independently owned) sushi bars in specific areas, meet with supermarket executives and store managers. At this time, we are currently seeking individuals to oversee areas that may require traveling out of state for extended periods of time. Must be able to work well with others, be outgoing, responsible and have good communication skills.
