♦ Franchise Administrative Assistant

As North America's largest packaged sushi supplier, Advanced Fresh Concepts Franchise Corp. ("AFCFC") provides consumers with an industry leading selection of diverse ready-to-eat meals. Primary tasks and responsibilities:
Processing franchise agreements and other legal documents accurately and in timely manner
Contacting franchisees to obtain necessary documents
Processing sales transfer requests and assisting franchisees with filling out the documents correctly over the phone and/or in person
Responding to franchisee inquiries relating to sales transfers and other legal matters
Maintaining spreadsheet, record keeping and database management
General administrative duties such as mailings, filing, etc.

♦ Proposal Drafting Assistant

Position Overview:
Under the supervision and oversight of Division Management, this full-time position will handle the various tasks of drafting and revising new product proposals and retail price increase proposals, to be submitted to the Headquarters of the retail establishments (Clients) wherein AFC operates its food service counter franchises, for the purpose of obtaining approval to implement the changes proposed for such food service counters. Close communications and cooperation with other functional teams within R&D Dept., as well as Marketing Dept., are required. Proposal contents and details will vary by retail establishment, region, store segment, etc.

Qualifications:
Education Bachelor's Degree, preferably in Business Administration or Marketing.
Experience1 year of office experience, preferably in sales or marketing.
Languages/skills/abilitiesFluency in English; ability to work in a fast-paced environment; communicates well with supervisor and peers; quick learner; positive attitude; time-management skills; creativity sense; detail- oriented; ability to approach all tasks assigned in a systematic, disciplined, accurate, and thorough manner; good experience with Microsoft Office applicationsWord, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook; basic knowledge of and experience with design softwareAdobe Illustrator and Photoshop.

Primary Job Functions (80%)
Drafting of various proposals for submission to Clients. The writing needs to be clear and convincing in order to maximize the likelihood of obtaining approval for implementation. Proposals may include pictures, diagrams, images, sample designs, numbers, and figures, depending on context.
New products R&D regularly develops new product concepts to add to our food service counter menu.
Retail Price Increase our product retail prices need to increase occasionally, in order to keep pace with rising costs, so that franchisees can continue to operate profitably.

Secondary Job Functions (15%)
Follow-up with Marketing Dept. on client decision on proposals.
Respond to Marketing Dept. inquiries regarding submitted proposals.
Maintain an organized system to archive all proposals, for quick retrieval based on retail establishment, region, store segment, etc.

♦ Logistics Assistant

Position Overview:
This position will assist with vital functions of the Company's supply chain to ensure the efficient and timely sourcing of new ingredients and supplies (new materials) required to implement new and test menu items at the Companys retail establishment based food service counter locations. The food service counters offer two main product linessushi and Asian hot food. Operational materials include, but are not limited to seafood, meat, rice, noodles, containers, and food preparation tools and equipment. Close communications and coordination with AFC Distribution Corp. and various divisional teams of R&D Dept., are required.

Qualifications:
Education Bachelor's Degree, preferably in Business Administration
Experience 1-2 years of office experience, preferably at a product distribution company
Languages/skills/abilities fluency in English; extensive computer skills (MS Word, Excel, Access, and database software); detail-oriented; inter-personal communications

Primary Job Functions (60%) - Shipment Coordination and Inventory Control
Ensure set deadlines are achieved
Gather confirmed documents (memos, recipes, instructions, etc.) for a particular promotion, announcement, etc.
Gather electronic copies of confirmed creative designs (posters, banner, color menus, etc.) associated with the above promotion, announcement, etc.
Inform various individuals on status of shipments
Assist in resolving shipment issues; i.e. late delivery, returns, incorrect shipments, etc.
Coordinate with AFC Distribution Corp. to ensure sufficient inventory levels.

Ensure sufficient documentation is obtained for new items

♦ Nutrition and Labeling Assistant

Position Overview:
Assist with tasks and functions related to product nutrition and ingredient disclosures, to ensure accuracy and compliance with rules and regulations of the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and any other applicable governmental agency, domestically as well as in Canada and Australia. This position shall assist and work under the supervision of both the Sushi and Hot Foods Nutrition and Labeling Compliance Supervisors.

Primary Job Functions (70%) Nutrition & Label Compliance Upkeep
Maintain/update product specification sheet files for domestic, Canadian, and Australian locations.
Ensuring the accuracy of ingredients listed on product labels for existing and new items.
Update nutrition chart hard copy and digital copy for company website.
Answer customer telephone and email inquiries regarding nutrition and allergens.
Assist the maintenance of ingredient master list and ingredient online order system.
Maintain close communications with Australia personnel, to ensure accurate, up-to-date information.
Maintain Assist the Nutrition and Labeling Compliance Supervisor in assigned tasks for the USA, Canada, and Australia regions.

Secondary Job Functions (20%) Labeling System Support
Assist with tasks related to the Labeling Systemi.e. double check label print outs for accuracy.
Check for accuracy on labels (Ingredients, UPC, Net Weight, Price, Allergens).

♦ Franchise Services Team (TECH member)

Qualifications/Preferences:
MS Excel advance knowledge.
Familiar with Python, SQL, HTML or similar software.
Detailed-oriented, efficient, accurate, organized.
Capable in a fast-pace multi-tasking dynamic environment.
Bilingual is a PLUS (i.e. Chinese or Korean).
Experience with MS Dynamics, CRM, or similar software is a PLUS.

♦ Distribution Manager

We are seeking a Distribution Manager for our Warehouse/Distribution Center.

Duties to include:
Supervise the Warehouse and Shipping Department employees.
Negotiate price with suppliers.
Control inventory.

Minimum 5 years experience managing warehouse and shipping department
Must have excellent oral and written communication.

♦ Sushi Specialist

Position Overview:
Manage various AFC Corporate management sushi bars and hot foods service counters i.e. Sizzling Wok, Steam Table and Hot Bowl until location transitions to a franchise location. Train franchisees and chefs. Maximize sales. Training provided during a 2-week orientation at AFC Headquarters.

Primary Job Functions (80%)
1) Manage AFC Corporate management sushi bars and hot foods service counters and maximize sales.
2) Train franchisees and chefs on food preparation, cooking techniques, food safety and sanitation.
3) Coordinate and set-up location and kitchen equipment in accordance to company procedures.
4) Track sales data and sales trends; follow-up on customer/store management feedback.
5) Submit weekly data reports and business reports within company procedures.

2) Make sushi items and/or hot foods
3) Post applicable promotional displays (posters, banners, etc)

♦ Food Safety Auditor (6 positions)
LOCATIONS: Georgia, Illinois, Tennessee, Virginia, Massachusetts, Indiana


Position Responsibilities:
Oversee food safety and sanitation procedures for retail food service organization. Conduct routine inspections of franchise locations to determine compliance with SSOP, store requirements, and State and local laws. Educate chefs during routine visits on food safety and internal policies and procedures. Follow-up on conduct complaint investigations. Must possess strong interpersonal and organization skills. Must be able to operate a company vehicle and be able to work independently.

Position Qualifications:
- BA/BS Degree in Biology, Nutrition, Environmental Health, or Microbiology, preferred
- Knowledge in food safety (FDA Retail Food Code) is required. Experience in retail food service a plus
- Must have excellent oral and written communication
- Must have a valid drivers license and acceptable Motor Vehicle Record
- 100% travel throughout assigned region(s)


♦ Corporate Chef's Assistant

Assistant to the Corporate Chef will be responsible to assist in training prospective franchisees.

Position Responsibilities:
1. Assist the Corporate Chef in training prospective Franchisees in the following areas:
- Sushi Bar operation
- Quality control
- Food safety
- Customer service
- Product demonstration/sampling

2. Operate AFC management stores to maximize sales.
- Open and close sushi bar each day.
- Make sushi items each day.
- Ensure all applicable promotional posters, banners, etc. are on display.
- Conduct product demo/sampling.

3. Travel to AFC management stores in various regions. Travel approximately once a month for approximately 7 - 10 days each trip.

4. Submit weekly data reports and business/travel reports.

5. Handle additional tasks as assigned.

Position Qualifications:
- Certification from a culinary institute is preferred
- Minimum 1 3 years of sushi chef experience at a Japanese or Asian restaurant
- Must have excellent verbal communication skills, inter-personal skills and ability to motivate others
- Must be Serve-Safe certified.


♦ Regional Manager

Position Qualifications:
The applicant for this position will oversee franchised (independently owned) sushi bars in specific areas, meet with supermarket executives and store managers. At this time, we are currently seeking individuals to oversee areas that may require traveling out of state for extended periods of time. Must be able to work well with others, be outgoing, responsible and have good communication skills.
